Terms & Conditions
1. Cancellations and Changes
1.1 To cancel, please e-mail: Enquiries@digitalmetropolis.co.uk
1.2 In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled or the date is changed by Digital Metropolis, Digital Metropolis is not responsible for any charges incurred by any prospective delegates for travel or accommodation, or for refunds or any other costs.
1.3 Digital Metropolis reserves the right to change or cancel any or all sessions from the final event
programme and to change the venue or platform where the event takes place.
1.4 Digital Metropolis may permit (in its sole discretion) a registration to be transferred to an alternative delegate from the same organisation. Proposals for substitutes must be notified to Digital Metropolis at least three days prior to the event.
2. Badges
2.1 If you allow your badge to be scanned at an in-person event by an exhibitor, your email address will be shared with the relevant exhibitor as a record of such activity so that they may contact you in the future.
2.2. In-person events: Please wear your own badge only. You are welcome if you like to return it
to the event registration desk at the end of the event.
3. Restrictions
3.1 No commercial photography, recording or broadcasting of any kind is permitted at the event.
You are not permitted to take copies of any materials or discussions in the event. The event is a
closed door event and takes place under the Chatham House rule.
3.2 The venue for in-person events may limit the use of mobile devices.
3.3 Digital Metropolis may refuse anyone access to the event in its sole discretion. Digital Metropolis accepts no liability for any consequences of refusal of any entry.
3.4 In-person events: Digital Metropolis accepts no liability for any loss of property or injury at the event.
3.6 Digital Metropolis is not responsible for any content or comments contained within any presentations, chat facilities or otherwise within the event. You are responsible for your contributions to the event, including (without limitation) any contributions you make in a presentation or via a chat facility.
4. Data Protection
4.1 Digital Metropolis will use your information as set out at digitalmetropolis.co.uk/privacy-policy. As is standard for Digital Metropolis events, the delegate list (containing your name, job title, company name) from the event will be shared with the event sponsors (and Principal and Strategic Sponsors will also receive your email) so that they may contact you in the future and you are registering for the event on this basis.
4.2. The further sharing of additional contact details to other attendees or event partners is
taken at your own discretion.
5. Compliance
5.1 Delegates must comply with all requirements made by the venue & representatives and otherwise imposed by the local law of the venue.
6. Jurisdiction
6.1 English law shall apply to these terms and conditions and English courts shall have
jurisdiction to hear any disputes arising from them.
